Hi Kathy!

I hope this finds you well and enjoying the blessings each day gives. I wanted to write to you and tell you about my beautiful boy Brimley the Therapy Cat. For the last 2 years he has been visiting the nursing facility where my dad was a resident; everyone just LOVED him - he would catapult over the med cart, roll over paws up on beds, talk up a storm and love all the soft blankets and warm laps. Often the staff would let him prowl the dining room where residents would offer him their dinner - he seldom took interest in the food but was a great catalist for the staff to get the more difficult residents to eat includuing my dad. On October 23, my dad went home very peacefully to be with the Lord; I continue to be awestruck at the sense that this creature has of sadness. I don't think there was a moment he wasn't right by my side, following me everywhere, sleeping under the covers with an extended paw on my face, so much more than usual. He would lick my hand, rub his nose on my face and "chirp" while I wrote out my dad's memorial service. Brimley has that special way of seeking out the shy and retiring and making friends of non-cat lovers - he truly knows when your heart is heavy. This fur person has brought me so much joy with his silly antics and fun loving disposition but most of all with his uncanny ability to bring a comfort no human could every give.
My thanks again to you for raising this precious little guy, who is now my therapy and joy.

Blessings,
Hazel

I KNOW IT'S BEEN A LONG TIME SINCE I ASKED MOM TO WRITE YOU, BUT I WANTED YOU TO KNOW ABOUT THE NEW PRESENT SHE GOT ME A FEW WEEKS AGO.  I KNOW I'M NOT SUPPOSED TO GO OUTSIDE THE HOUSE EXCEPT TO GO TO THE DOCTOR AND I AM VERY GOOD ABOUT NOT TRYING TO GET OUT OF THE HOUSE, BY SNEAKING OR CRYING.  I HAVE BEEN VERY GOOD.  BUT MOM FOUND A WAY SO I CAN GO OUT FOR WALKS WITH HER ON NICE DAYS.  SHE BOUGHT ME A PET STROLLER AND FOR THE LAST COUPLE OF WEEKS WE HAVE BEEN GOING FOR WALKS - THREE OR FOUR DAYS A WEEK.  I LOVE MY NEW STROLLER.  WE HAVE WALKED, JUST SAT OUTSIDE ENJOYING THE NICE WEATHER, AND WHEN WE'RE NOT OUTSIDE, I EVEN USE IT FOR A BED WHILE MOM IS WATCHING TV.  SHE AND I HAVE BECOME EVEN CLOSER THAN EVER AND WHEN I'M NOT RELAXING IN MY STROLLER, I CLIMB UP IN HER LAP AND WE HAVE LOTS OF QUIET "QUALITY" TIME TOGETHER.

                                                                                                                                SINCERELY, SHOHANALEAH

PS  KATHY,  THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR SHOHANALEAH.  AS YOU CAN TELL, SHOHANALEAH IS PRETTY SPOILED, BUT SHE EARNS IT EVERY DAY.  SHE IS SUCH A LOVE AND IS VERY RARELY IN "TROUBLE" (EXCEPT WHEN SHE "PLAYS SOCCER" WITH MY ANKLES).  SOMETIMES I THINK SHE THINKS SHE'S PART SHEEPDOG "HERDING" ME AROUND LIKE MY SHETLAND SHEEPDOG WAS SUPPOSED TO DO BUT NEVER DID!

Kathy,

Thanks for the wonderful addition to our family.. We love our little baby.. He has fit right in, and is already a part of the family after only a week!!

You have done a wonderful job with your cats and kittens. We have thoroughly enjoyed getting our kitten from RomanticRags.

Kathy,

Reese has turned into the most magnificent cat..he is a gentle giant..truly loves everyone..I had a friend here Sunday night who brought his 9yo Male Sheperd and 3 mos old Sheperd girl.

The 2 Cockers and Reese met them at the door..no agression at all..and they spent the night tearing around here.:-)
Reese loves people and they ALL love him..even the ones that are allergic :-)

I still would like to have a female..let me know if you ever breed one that is "outgoing" like him.
I think you might recall...he was socialized in about 30 mins.LOL

Hi Kathy!  Just wanted to send a note to thank you for giving us such a WONDERFUL little guy.  My son named him "Io" (one of Jupiter's moons).  Io is such a doll.  Curious, friendly, playful, loveable.  He puts up with the kids hauling him around.  I've never seen him get even a bit crabby.  We couldn't have asked for a better cat.  Thank you!!

Thanks again for such a terrific cat.  I just can't say enough good things about him!
